Bunting Wedding Placecards

A friend of mine recently said she wanted to create a bunting theme for her table setting at her forthcoming wedding, and wanted to keep a rustic and brown kraft theme. So this is what we came up with.

Using our plain brown kraft placecards, and a few essentials such as ribbon and sharp scissors; we had a great afternoon in the sunshine cutting, sticking and creating!

Here's what we used to create the gorgeous bunting above:

A pack of our plain brown kraft placecards

We used our natural twine and extra fine cutting scissors, ribbon from Jane Means.

To create the bunting around the jar, the hanging bunting and the bunting on the placecards, we chose these gorgeous raspberry stitched and pale blue with white dotty grosgrain ribbons:

both available from Jane Means.

we added a little pink gingham table cover, and some hanging bunting to match too!

As well as a little of my absolute favourite bunting combination - pale blue dotty with red stitched ribbon!

Each bunting was cut into small enough triangles to glue onto our natural twine, then glued onto the flat placecard with some stix 2 high tac pva glue. We found this was the best for a quick dry, and it also dries clear!

We had a fabulous afternoon playing around - and love the completed look - we hope you like them too xx
